Update: No Memphis Rodders Reunion in 2013

Yes, it's been a while since I've posted to the Memphis Rodders Reunion website. I've got lots of personal excuses as to why the postings have been absent, but a significant one is that an organizational change regarding the planning and hosting of the reunion has occurred, and that means that there will be no reunion this year. Please read the following statement from event organizer Larry Nolan.
Memphis Rodders Reunion information:
It is with great concern that I bring you this news. I have decided to step down from hosting the
Memphis Rodders Reunion. As most of you know, I have been hosting the reunion for over 15 years. I have
turned the hosting back to the remaining members of the Memphis Rodders club, to do as they wish
with upcoming events.
I want to thank each and every one of you for your past attendance each year, the help that each of you
have offered me will never be forgotten. I am pleased that we were able to raise money to help so many
young burn victims with the critical care necessary to sustain life.
Any future donations to the Al Chymia Shrine Burn Center will be appreciated.

So, there is no Memphis Rodders Reunion planned for 2013. What does it mean long-term? I'm not sure. There are simply not a lot of original Memphis Rodders around anymore, so there is currently no clear path on organizing future reunions. This site will remain online for the foreseeable future and any updates about the status of potential reunions will be made available here. There probably won't be a lot of updates made here unless there is specific news about the state of the reunion. A broader web presence may rise from this situation in due time, but I'll try to provide a link to an archived version of this site online.
