Sadly, I just received news that former Memphis Rodders member Arthur Trim has passed away. Arthur enthusiastically supported the reunion, and was obviously proud of his days as a member of the club. Arthur was also a valuable resource of information for some of the articles on this website, and provided much appreciated commentary whenever he felt it was justified.

Arthur is shown on the left in the above group photo at the 2008 Memphis Rodders Reunion along with Marvin Carter, Herb McCandless, Clay Millican, and Preston Davis.

Arthur made the journey from street driven hot rods to being a partner on a C/Gas dragster that was a competitor at the 1967 NHRA Springnationals, where the Memphis Rodders were a dominant force to be reckoned with.

A memorial for Arthur will be held in Conyers GA on September 19th. He will be missed.
